This book contains a lovely selection of some of the striking photographs made by the British adventurer and author Wilfred Thesiger during his many travels through Africa and Asia. The quality of reproduction of the photos is quite high. I have kept this book with me since 1988 and find that leafing through it never fails to stimulate my imagination. Be sure to read his excellent books to discover the context of these pictures.
